Having spent a sleepless night due to her toothache, she drove out in search of a dentist. Being new in town, she didn't have a regular dentist yet.
As she drove, she saw a sign that said Hayfield Dental Care. She promptly turned her car into the parking lot, hoping she could get in without an appointment. She read the name of the dentist Charles Brown DDS PC and smiled. The name inspired confidence.
What she saw printed along the glass doors made her groan, wanting to kick herself. "Hayfield Dental Care’s doors are always open to new patients and emergencies." On the one hand, it was good. She wouldn't need an appointment. On the other hand, if she'd tried this last night, perhaps she could've gotten this throbbing pain out of her mouth then, and she could've had a good night's sleep.
