Foreign Tongues

I've heard some funny lines from people I've known over the years who were learning English. Some of them have come back to mind recently:

"Ugh. The exam on Friday... don't remember me that."

"Wow! This spaghetti is really gorgeous. Can I get the recipe?"

"I have no expectations for myself." (Meaning, "I am not ambitious.")

I've probably made blunders that are equally funny in my langauge learning, but it is sometimes amusing to hear the language twisted on a foreign tongue, and to see the different ways one can come up with for saying a thing.
