She lay in bed, irritated and frustrated. Now, not only was her tooth aching, but she was also unable to sleep, despite her exhaustion. The tooth throbbed in her mouth, and she suspected this was going to be one very long sleepless night.
She had no idea what had started it, but of course it only started after office hours, when it was too late to do anything about it. Just her luck. If this had all started just a little earlier, she could have at least avoided the sleepless night.
