When it comes to telling stories...

When it comes to telling stories, I have a 7-year-old nephew who is top-notch. He tends to get real jabbery with it, of course, but he does have a talent.

Today at lunch, he was talking non-stop. I told him to stop talking and eat. A friend of mine was with me, and said, "But it was a good story. Total nonsense, but interesting nonsense."

That pretty much sums my nephew up. He might talk a lot of nonsense, but he does it in an interesting way. It seems, with him, to be an inborn skill.
