If you are expecting the "real" Beowulf onscreen, give the film a miss. I won't rehash all the reasons why, because that post does it so well.
That said, I can add that the poem is not to be missed!

A Good Review of Beowulf
Want to read a good review of the film Beowulf? I just found one here.
If you are expecting the "real" Beowulf onscreen, give the film a miss. I won't rehash all the reasons why, because that post does it so well.
That said, I can add that the poem is not to be missed!
